The award will provide funds to broaden the expertise of the research group in the field of Alzheimer’s Disease and related disorders.

Jan. 3, 2023: PIs and trainees (students, postdoctoral fellows) of the Microbiome Program convened for a full-day retreat. There were lots of scientific discussions, cross-pollination of ideas from different fields, followed by a banquet dinner to celebrate our great camaraderie.

We are excited to be working towards discovering novel immune biomarkers that will help seronegative RA patients get the right diagnosis sooner.

Jan. 2021: We are excited to work with Professor Isobel Scarisbrick on her recently awarded NIH (NINDS) R01 grant on targeting Protease Activated Receptor 1 (PAR1) for spinal cord injury repair. Jaeyun will serve as a co-Investigator on this research.
